Virtual Walking Tours
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, when there was no tourism in Israel to speak of, I was looking for various ways of how to keep myself busy. One of these ways had been to pick up a camera and a gimbal, and to roam the streets of Jerusalem while filming whatever I came across. These “Silent Walker” videos were hardly my original concept, however, as YouTube was full of videos by people who walked silently through various cities all over the world. But since I liked the concept, I started to adopt the format myself. Watching these clips is quite soothing and I see them as a good substitute for a real walk though Jerusalem, if coming here in person is not possible for you.
