Ofer guided our tour group through Israel for several days. I felt safe and well accompanied at all times during the trip. The daily schedule was clearly structured and communicated and was summarized again in the evening. There were never long waiting times between the program points. Ofer speaks perfect German and has a very pleasant voice that is a pleasure to listen to. He had an answer to every question and if he couldn’t answer directly, he knew where to look. He was always open to questions of all kinds. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shares his knowledge with his listeners in an exciting way. You can sense his own genuine enthusiasm for the country and its people – it’s incredibly infectious!

We have been traveling with Ofer in Israel and the West Bank for almost a month for a TV production. We didn’t know him before, but he came highly recommended. Now, after four weeks of full contact from early in the morning until late at night – only at night do we usually leave him alone – I can happily and with full conviction say: Ofer is premium de luxe! And super sababa! One Ofer child, so to speak. We in television have been a close-knit, well-rehearsed group for decades. When we met Ofer, he was the new kid. The other one. The hired man. But only for four minutes. After five minutes, we thought: Oops, he’s really nice. After an hour, he was part of the team. After a month, you want to modify a Loriot quote: A life without Ofer is feasible, but not recommendable. I can fully subscribe to that, at least for the Israel phase of my life.

Our trip through Israel was a great experience. Our guide Ofer was always friendly, happy to answer questions and created an extremely good atmosphere. He was also able to provide a lot of background information about the history of Israel and the country of Israel today. He was always flexible and pointed out important things to bear in mind when traveling in Israel. All in all, I can only recommend him as a guide.

Ofer is a great Tour Guide with an incredible knowledge. We learned a lot about Israel and it never got boring with him.

Excellent tour guide. We made a group tour with a lot cultural and holy locations, and Ofer was very good prepared and guided us with a lot of information and knowledge about all historic and religious places. We visited in six full days: Jerusalem, Samaria, Desert of Judea, Golan Heights, Galilee and Lake Genezareth with many single stops & hot spots. Finally we closed the journey with a night in Tel Aviv. He is perfect in German, English and Hebrew language and knows his country and the people very well. We travelled as family with six person on a tour with Ofer. My whole family loved the kind of Ofers explanations. It was a honor to travel eight days with this likeable man through the Holy Land. He understands to present his knowledge in a useful and suitable manner. Politically sensitive topics he explained in a considerate way. That is what you expect of professionell guide. Only sometimes he used the German schwäbisch accent. That was very funny, because we lived also in the schwäbisch area. We booked a Jerusalem tour with Ofer with our children (aged 15 and 17). A truly extraordinary and impressive experience. If there is any way to understand Jerusalem, then Ofer is the right guide for it. History, the different religions and the current developments in this incredible city – Ofer explains everything in an impressive and very informative way. He leaves enough space for any kind of questions. We were on the road for almost 12 hours and it was never boring and nowhere near enough. In emergency situations (we had a lot of rain in the desert!!), due to which the program had to be changed, Ofer found good solutions! He also knew where to find the toilets for each of the visits. We toured Israel as part of a small group in October. What a fabulous and life enhancing trip it was! We credit much of that to our amazing tour guide Ofer Moghadam. Ofer guided us and 11 others through Israel for 13 days. He gently and professionally kept our group organized as we visited all of the major points of interest from the Israeli border with Lebanon in the north to the Dead Sea in the south. We stayed in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, as well as a Kibbutz on the Golan Heights. We used those cities and the Kibbutz as jumping off points to explore Israel’s interesting and complicated history from ancient times to the present day. Ofer was extremely knowledgeable about all things Israel! One of Ofer’s unique strong points is his ability to approach a wide variety of people to interview as we traveled. We were able to meet and interact with people as diverse as an Israeli soldier on guard duty at the Lebanese border, to a holocaust survivor, to West Bank Palestinians, to a young Druze woman, to high school students who are completing their studies and preparing to start their military service. We highly recommend Ofer as a tour guide.

A day with Ofer through his city Jerusalem! It was a wonderful day where Ofer managed to cater to the needs of us adults and our sons, 8 & 9 years old. It’s not easy to keep two children happy on a 9 hour tour! Ofer made it wonderfully warm, funny and interesting! We learned a lot about the history of Israel and finally really understood the context. In between we had ice cream, falafel, crêpe and coffee breaks. Our afternoon walk together through the ultra-orthodox Jewish quarter was impressive – a leap back in time! Ofer showed us this culture with much sensitivity! Ofer was an incredible guide. Rarely I have been so engaged from a Tour Guide like I was with Ofer, I highly recommend him. The best mix of culture, history and religion, he is incredibly knowledgeable and kept us entertained while doing it.

I have been to Israel several times, but Ofer was absolutely the best tour guide of all. I was fascinated by his knowledge of history, politics and Judaism. As a person, he is characterized by a great empathy with which he accepted and lovingly guided the group. The trip was very varied thanks to his personal commitment and creativity.

Ofer is a fantastic and very accomodating tour guide. We would give more stars, but five is the limit here, so five full stars it is then. Between religious sites, food quests (he was really patient with my search for the best Knafeh and spices), political and non-political discussions in Denglish (because why not!), historical lessons, and humour that had us laughing and time flying, we really couldn’t ask for more. It’s a whole day of exploring and walking, so wear something comfortable, and come with an open mind. Also, don’t be scared to ask for falafel refills and the search for knafeh and halva if you’re into sweets. So when in Jerusalem, book Ofer’s tour offer (hah!). It’s a treasure trove of information, fun, and memories to be made.

This is the second time I’ve been on the road with Ofer. This time with a small family group of seven people. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. After we had planned this trip together via Zoom, the anticipation was already huge. Ofer has an enormous amount of knowledge, is responsive to each individual, tailors the trip precisely to the wishes of the group, is flexible and humorous. You can tell that he is a Tour Guide with heart and soul. His job is his vocation. I hope that I can experience a few more trips to Israel with Ofer as my tour guide!

With our group of 7 travelers (18 – 75 years old), we went on a 9-day trip to Israel that was individually planned with Ofer Moghadam. Our goal was to get an understanding and feeling for Israel and its history, for the Jewish, Christian and Muslim sites, but also to experience nature. The trip took us from Tel Aviv to Jaffa, from there to Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, Nazareth, the West Bank, Jericho, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem. We found Ofer to be an extremely competent tour guide, a careful chauffeur and a reliable, humorous friend. It would be difficult to find a better tour guide. We can only confirm the extremely positive feedback from others from the bottom of our hearts. If we visit Israel again, then only with him.

Ofer’s stories were often very exciting and entertaining, he pointed out interesting contexts and closed thematic arcs. It was very interesting to listen to him. I discovered some new connections through him. He is particularly knowledgeable about history and politics. He knows how to convey his stories in a profound and philosophical way, so that the listener is drawn into the story. On a personal level, he was also able to connect the individual people in our large group and create a cheerful and warm-hearted atmosphere.

Ofer is the best tour guide we have ever had. He is not only very well versed in languages (German, English, Hebrew, Swabian), but also brings you closer to the country, its people, politics, culture and much more, and he does it in a humorous and exciting way. Why? Because he can do it … and he does it really well! He is honest and has fantastic ideas and a tremendous range of knowledge.

We spent a whole week on the road with Ofer as a group of 48 people. Ofer solved all major and minor problems for each person and brought us closer to his country with a lot of passion, charm and humor. We would love to visit Israel with him once more.

Ofer knows, like nobody else, to give the best information and complete extensive explanations, without beeing boring at any time. He speaks perfect Englisch, German and Hebrew and can also communicate in Arabic. Ofer gave us a comprehensive overview of Jerusalem. He even planned the journey from our hotel in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem for us. Ofer brought us very close to Israel with his great knowledge and experience. We learned to see the country and its issues from a different perspective. He welcomed us as a tour guide, but we left him as a friend.

Ofer picked me and my son up at the hostel in March 2022 at 9:00 in the morning and guided us through Jerusalem for a remarkable 11 hours. Ofer is a super nice guy with an apparently inexhaustible wealth of knowledge about Israel, Jerusalem, Judaism, the life of Christ, and everything related. The tour went from Jaffa Street to the Old City, by bus to the Mount of Olives, and then back on foot to the Old City, along the Via Dolorosa, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, to the Western Wall, and back to the hotel. Ofer carefully intertwined the threads of history with the places we visited, so that we gradually learned why Jerusalem is such a special place where the events of the last few thousand years are so tangible. In between, there was plenty of time for hummus, coffee, and tea in an Arab shisha lounge. I can wholeheartedly recommend a tour with Ofer to anyone. As far as I know, he also offers tours throughout Israel, and I can imagine that those would be very exciting as well.

Ofer can present well-founded facts, backgrounds, and current events in his contributions. He does it confidently and engagingly. It is never tiring or uninspired. He has broadened my personal horizons and inspired me about the land of Israel.

The tour with Ofer M. has broadened my perspective on the historical, political, and religious backgrounds of this melting pot of cultures and the various challenges that are inherent in Israel. Ofer was our guide for a few days during  a recent trip to Israel, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Our family spent two days seeing Jerusalem with Ofer as our guide in late June. Without a doubt they were the two best, most memorable days of our trip! Ofer is incredibly knowledgeable and offered us wonderful and interesting facts about Israel’s and Jerusalem’s history. His explanations were detailed but to the point and we all learned so much. Our kids are 15, 12 and 8 and they loved every minute as much as my husband and I did. Ofer is adventurous, has a great sense of humor and is lots of fun to be with!  He instantly formed meaningful connections with each one of us. My kids still talk about him and were genuinely sad when the two days with him were over. We covered a lot of ground during our time together and Ofer was kind, patient, flexible, and catered to all our requests adjusting the itinerary as necessary spending long hours with us on both days! We highly recommend Ofer for your touring needs! He is the best and you’ll love every minute with him like we did! We hope to return to Israel in the near future and have the privilege of having him guide us again.

I can’t imagine a better guide than Ofer. I have never seen and learned so much in eleven days as on this magical vacation! From culture and history in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, Jericho, Akko and Haifa, nature at the Dead Sea and in the desert (remote places, e.g. Lido Beach, Judean Desert, beautiful viewpoints), religious sights with exciting details and sun, beach and good food in Tel Aviv. Ofer is so nice and kind and knowledgeable! We walked through Jaffe Gate as a start, taking a cab to Mountain Olive, then walking the whole down back to the city. He literally saved me from the airport. I landed at 4 AM in the morning and booked a car to Jerusalem. When I walked out of the gate, only to find no one was waiting to pick me up! The agency I used didn’t even leave me a cellphone number. However, they gave me Ofer’s number, who was woken up by me and guided me to the agent.
